In the case of amenities managed by third parties, we recommend reviewing the third party's privacy policy, where applicable, as "Auberge sur Mer" will not transfer any data to these third parties; it is your responsibility to contact these third parties and make your reservations, as "Auberge sur Mer" will only act as a referral to the third party. - Door Lock Systems. For security purposes, we may collect information through our door lock system. This information includes the opening and closing times of room doors. This information may be shared in certain circumstances, as outlined in Section 6, Communication of Personal Information, of this privacy policy.

We use this information to measure and monitor traffic on our website or social media platforms and to improve the efficiency of our website or social media platforms or our guests' experience. Additionally, we may use the personal information collected from our guests to determine their interests and understand the evolution of their needs in order to improve our products and services, develop new ones, and evaluate potential improvements or other changes to the functions of our website or social media platforms. For information on how you can limit the types of information we collect, use, or share about you when you visit and/or use our website or social media platforms or connect to our Wi-Fi network, please refer to Section 5, Right to Withdraw Consent, of this privacy policy, as well as the cookie management policy. We may also collect and use the following types of information:

- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics, a service that allows us to see information about user activities online, including, but not limited to, pages viewed, the source, and the time spent on our website or social media platforms and/or our mobile app. This information is anonymized and displayed as figures, meaning it cannot be linked to individuals. You can opt-out of our use of Google Analytics by visiting the Google Analytics opt-out page.

- Google Ads (formerly known as Google AdWords). We use Google Ads to reach potential new customers or existing clients. Remarketing through Google Ads is also used to advertise "Auberge sur Mer" on the Internet and advertise on third-party websites (including Google) to people who have already visited our website or social media platforms. The Google Ads remarketing feature displays ads to you based on the parts of our website or social media platforms you have viewed by placing a cookie on your web browser. This means we may advertise to visitors who have not completed a task on our site or show ads on Google search result pages. This cookie does not identify you or give access to your computer or mobile device. The cookie is only used to notify other websites that you have visited a specific page on our website or social media platforms, so they can show you ads related to that page. If you do not wish to participate in our Google Ads remarketing activities, you can disable this feature in the Google Ads preference manager.

i. Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, is the provider of the Google Analytics service. Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of "Auberge sur Mer" websites, if applicable, is usually transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. Google is committed to complying with applicable privacy laws and is registered with the U.S. Department of Commerce's Privacy Shield program.

- Tracking Pixels. We may use tracking pixels (also known as invisible pixels or invisible GIFs) on our website or social media platforms to track user actions on them. Unlike cookies, which are stored on your computer or mobile device's hard drive by a website, tracking pixels are invisibly embedded in web pages. Tracking pixels allow us to measure the success rate of our marketing campaigns and compile statistics on the use of our website or social media platforms so that we can manage content more effectively. The information we collect through tracking pixels is generally not linked to the personal data of our users.

- Geolocation Data. We do not automatically collect geolocation data. This data will only be requested from the guest during the booking process.

- Traffic and Device Tracking. In some cases, we may count the number of people entering our inn or monitor the flow patterns within our premises, without identifying the guests, to help us predict demographic information about our guests during their visit to our establishments. We may also track devices that accessed our inn and/or visited or used our services, website, social media platforms, and/or Wi-Fi network for similar purposes and to ensure that our ability to provide reliable Internet services to our guests is not compromised.

- Social Media. If you interact with us through a third-party social media platform (such as Facebook, Instagram, or a similar platform), through which you allow us to collect (or allow the third party to provide) information about you (including personal information) such as details about your friends/relationships, likes, comments you have shared, groups, and location. Additionally, we may receive information about you (including your personal details) if other users of a third-party website give us access to their profiles, and you are one of their friends/relationships or if information about you is otherwise accessible through their web page, profile page, or similar page of your friends/relationships on a social media platform or other third-party interactive website or service. We may combine the information we collect directly about you with the information we receive from third parties to improve our ability to serve you, tailor our content to your needs, and send you information about promotions and/or offers that we believe may interest you, but at all times, in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

- Vehicle Information. If you park in the parking lot of our inn, we may collect information about your vehicle to manage our parking areas, provide parking services, and enforce our parking regulations. We may use your information to communicate with you about future services and/or conduct surveys on the quality of our products, services, or customer service or to offer you additional product and service deals that we believe may interest you. For more information on the type of commercial electronic messages you may receive from us, please refer to Section 3, Communications and Electronic Notifications, of this privacy policy. Unless required or permitted by law, "Auberge sur Mer" will not collect or use personal information for other purposes or new purposes without obtaining another form of consent.

Finally, please note that we will never request sensitive personal data on our website or social media platforms, such as information related to race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, social security numbers, etc. Similarly, we do not require data concerning children.

17. Rights of Individuals Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
We understand that many of our guests reside in countries where data protection is governed by the GDPR.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union grants our guests additional rights regarding their personal data. These rights may already be included in this privacy policy, as outlined in this document:

- Right to Information: Guests have the right to request a copy of the personal data we have collected about them.

- Right to Rectification: Guests have the right to request that their personal data be completed or rectified if it is incomplete or incorrect. See Section 11 Updating and Accessing Your Information.

- Right to Erasure: In certain circumstances, guests may request the deletion of their personal data.

- Right to Restrict Processing: Guests who have consented to the processing of their personal data in a specific context may revoke that consent and prevent further processing, provided there is no other relevant justification. This right to withdraw consent does not apply to data we store for the purposes of this policy.

- Right to Data Portability: Guests can request that we transfer the personal data we have stored about them electronically to another service provider.

- Right to Lodge a Complaint: Guests may lodge a complaint with us or the relevant data protection authority regarding our processing of their data. See Section 13 Privacy Officer's Role.

Please note that there are exceptions to the above rights, and not all rights can be exercised in every situation. In accordance with the rights outlined above, any request should be detailed enough to identify the personal data sought. A request for access to personal data should be submitted to the Privacy Officer at Auberge sur Mer, as described in Section 13 Privacy Officer's Role.

We will provide access to the requested information within 30 business days or provide written notice of an extension if more time is needed to respond to the request.

If a request is fully or partially denied, we will inform the requester in writing, indicating the reasons for the refusal and the available remedies.
