What is the difference between the inn, the motel section, and the cottages?
The inn is the main building. It features three rooms on the ground floor as well as rooms on the second floor. Our seasonal restaurant, April Bistro, is also located in the inn.
The motel section refers to the units located next to the main building, along the river.
The cottages are two small houses located at the end of the property.
Do all rooms have a river view?
All motel rooms, as well as the three ground-floor rooms in the inn, offer a direct river view and a balcony facing the river.
Four rooms on the second floor of the inn also have a direct river view (two with balconies, two without).
The other rooms in the inn have balconies perpendicular to the river, offering a partial river view.
What do the kitchenettes include?
The kitchenettes include two stovetop burners, a microwave, a toaster, a drip coffee maker, a mini fridge, basic kitchen utensils, tableware for two to four people, and dishcloths.
Is there a fridge in every room?
Only rooms with a kitchenette include a fridge.
If your room does not have one, we can store your items in a refrigerator at the front desk. Simply ask, and our staff will label and keep them for you.
Is there air conditioning in all rooms?
All rooms in the inn are equipped with air conditioning.
Motel rooms do not have air conditioning; however, fans are available upon request at the front desk.
Do all rooms have bathtubs?
No. Rooms in the inn have glass showers.
Standard motel rooms have a bathtub, while superior rooms feature a glass shower.
Is there cable TV in all rooms?
No, not all rooms are equipped with cable TV.
The newer rooms in the inn feature smart TVs, providing access to streaming applications instead of traditional cable.
Where are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome exclusively in the motel section rooms and in the cottages.
A fee of $30 per pet, per stay applies.
Recognized service animals are the only animals permitted in the inn’s restaurant, in accordance with current regulations.
Is parking included with my reservation?
Parking is free and available for all standard-sized vehicles.
There are no assigned parking spaces.
Do you have electric vehicle charging stations?
We have two charging stations. These are slow chargers and are free to use.
We do not control their usage rotation and rely on our guests good judgment.
Additional charging stations are available in the village center and in Rivière-du-Loup, but we cannot guarantee availability.
Do you have a place to store my bicycle?
We have a secure room in the inn where bicycles can be stored.
Simply mention it at the front desk upon arrival, and we will assist you.
How often are rooms cleaned?
Rooms are cleaned after each guest’s departure.
Daily housekeeping is not automatically provided. If you need additional supplies or a quick cleaning, simply call us.
Until what time can I check in?
Our front desk is staffed 24 hours a day.
You may arrive at any time that is convenient for you.
Where are you located?
We are located in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, just 5 minutes west of Rivière-du-Loup.
What services do you offer?
We offer a restaurant service, complimentary coffee at the front desk at all times, an on-site boutique, and laundry service upon request.
We can also provide information about the region and help you book local experiences.
Please note that we do not offer massage therapy services.
What common facilities do you offer?
We provide a pétanque court, outdoor seating areas, a glass-enclosed lounge on the second floor, and a reading corner.
Please note that we do not have a pool, spa, or reception hall.
Can I consume my own alcohol anywhere on the property?
No. Personal alcohol may only be consumed in your room and on your balcony.
In all other areas of the inn, only alcohol served by the restaurant or purchased from the boutique may be consumed, in accordance with our liquor license regulations.
Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Breakfast is not included in the room rate.
However, a breakfast package can be purchased online or at the front desk.
Do I need a reservation to dine at the restaurant?
Reservations are not required but are strongly recommended, especially during peak season.

We do not offer lunch service.
Is room service available?
We do not offer room service, as we do not have the necessary equipment.
However, outside of peak hours, it may sometimes be possible to place a takeout order by checking directly with staff.
Is it possible to reserve your dining room for events?
Yes. You can contact us at [email protected] to submit a request to reserve the dining room outside of our opening hours.
It can be used for meetings, conferences, or other types of events.
We can also create a customized food offering based on your group’s needs, including coffee, tea, and snack service.
Please note that we do not close the dining room to regular guests during opening hours for group reservations.
What can I buy at your boutique?
Our boutique offers a selection of local and gourmet products, including wooden kitchen items, body and home products, dried flowers, accessories, and Auberge merchandise.
You will also find a variety of food products such as chocolate, chips, preserves, seaweed products, black garlic, jams, and other gourmet items.
We also offer a selection of alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, and cider.
